How your file is handled: unlike our other PDF tools, this conversion needs our server. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted in an isolated sandbox with no internet access, and deleted right after you download the PDF (and always within 30 minutes). We never keep or look at it.

To convert Excel to PDF, drop your XLSX, XLS, ODS or CSV file in. Formulas are calculated, every sheet is included using its print settings, and the PDF downloads automatically.

How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Drop a spreadsheet into the box above.
  2. Wait a few seconds while it converts.
  3. The PDF downloads automatically, one or more pages per sheet.

Getting a clean PDF from a spreadsheet

Excel decides page breaks from each sheet's print settings. For the neatest result, set a print area, choose landscape for wide sheets and use Scale to Fit (1 page wide) in Page Layout before converting. Hidden sheets are skipped, and formulas are calculated, so the PDF shows the current values.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fit a wide sheet on one page?
Set the print scaling in Excel (Page Layout → Scale to Fit → 1 page wide) before converting — the converter uses each sheet's print settings.
Is my file safe?
This is one of the few orrgo tools that needs our server. Your file is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, converted in an isolated sandbox that has no internet access, and deleted right after you download the PDF — always within 30 minutes. We never keep copies or look at the contents.
Are there limits?
Files up to 50 MB. Password-protected Office files can't be converted — remove the password in Word, Excel or PowerPoint first.
